**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Fort Loudoun Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

* Correlate patient history and support systems across the continuum of care
* Complete nursing history and initiate patient education
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to make recommendations for patient care
* Implement a plan of care appropriate to diagnosis and patient needs, evaluating outcomes
* Problem solve and coordinate unit/patient care assignments, with supervision
* Introduce new employees/students to unit routines
* Demonstrate active participation in unit or facility activities
* Demonstrate competence in performing critical skills, including appropriate delivery of care according to the age-specific needs of the population served
* Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters
* Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards, completing required education assignments annually

**Requirements:**

* New graduate, within the first year of orientation
* Must have and maintain a Tennessee RN license
* CPR required
