Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications in accordance with accepted practices and regulations.
- Document all medications administered in the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
- Check and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as ordered.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, oral care, toileting, dressing, and transferring residents.
- Assist with heavy lifting, transferring, and use of proper equipment according to policy and physicians' orders.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Medication Aide and Nurse Aide in good standing issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion.
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
- Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for various medical conditions.
