Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring staff performance, and communicating with physicians and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the orientation of new staff members and reinforce training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
  • Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso-gastric tubes, and other medical procedures.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions, and problem areas.
  • Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
  • Notify physicians and family members according to prescribed procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
  • Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
  • One year nursing experience.
