Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-time Retail/Customer Service Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and productive store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including floral arrangements, plants, and gifts.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and returns.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive store environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
  • Familiarity with florist business, including floral design and arrangement.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive store environment.
  • Typing ability (30 WPM) and basic computer skills.
  • Point of Sales experience, a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication ability.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted and stand for up to 8 hours daily, with occasional extended hours during busy periods.
