Your Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Land Development group in Ankeny. As a member of our team, you will work alongside experienced engineers, landscape architects, and technicians to design and deliver projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to diverse land development projects, adapting to varying complexity and scope.
  • Develop plans from conceptualization through construction, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to design fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Manage projects within budget, maintaining a high standard of quality, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Effectively interact with people of all technical skill levels through verbal and written communication.
Qualifications
  • BS Degree in civil engineering or construction engineering.
  • Prior experience as a civil or construction engineering intern or co-op, ideally in a consulting environment with a focus on land development.
  • A sound understanding of civil engineering fundamentals.
  • Effective time management skills, particularly in relationship to commitments on project designs and deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills, leading to positive, ongoing relationships with people.
