About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Land Development Engineer to join our team at Nilles Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing fundamental engineering principles in the design and development of general civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare drawings, documents, details, schedules, and specifications using programs such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Manage projects, including client relationship management, schedule maintenance, and budget oversight.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external team members.
  • Enhance the reputation of Nilles Associates in all interactions with clients, contractors, sub-consultants, partners, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed as a professional engineer in the State of Iowa or able to gain licensure within 6 months of hiring.
  • 5+ years of related professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • AutoCAD Civil3D experience preferred.
  • Understand local, state, and federal regulations and design standards.
