We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with adults with brain injury diagnoses, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with adults with brain injury diagnoses, providing emotional support and assistance with daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document behavioral progress notes and participate in regular team meetings to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with participant behavior management using non-aggressive, de-escalation techniques.
- Behavioral caregiver experience preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid/clean driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Good attitude, with the ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Caring and compassionate mindset.
