Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Graphic Designer, reporting to the Design Supervisor, plays a pivotal role in the creation and execution of various corporate marketing materials. This position is essential for effectively promoting the company and its affiliates while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints. The Graphic Designer will engage primarily in production tasks, dedicating 75-80% of their time to these responsibilities, while also contributing creatively to new projects. The role encompasses electronic production, web design, social media content, and other marketing initiatives. A personal setup with Adobe software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, AfterEffects), Microsoft Suite, and a compatible computer is required for this remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the efficient and timely production of marketing materials, including but not limited to: promotional pieces, brochures, newsletters, signage, and digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Design Supervisor and Sr. VP of Marketing on various projects, ensuring timely revisions and updates.
  • Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective design solutions. Gather necessary information from Project Managers to meet project deadlines and budgetary requirements.
  • Organize and maintain digital files for images and documents. Prepare print-ready PDFs or digital files according to specifications and upload them to the designated online portal promptly.

The compensation for this position is expected to range from $35 to $38 per hour, with variations based on individual qualifications, including market location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, financial, and other benefits.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or Marketing preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a graphic designer in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment with a strong understanding of print production.
  • Proficient in MAC and/or PC systems.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and experience in preparing files for print and digital formats.
  • Strong skills in publishing and design processes from concept to final production, including editing and file management.
  • Ability to work efficiently with production layout schematics and desktop publishing.
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, organized, and capable of multitasking within tight deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
