Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at Ualand University. As an Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in languages and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality course materials and lesson plans for languages courses
  • Teach one or more undergraduate courses in languages, adhering to the specific course content guide
  • Be available for contact with students and hold office hours appropriate for the course(s) being taught
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies for languages courses
Requirements
  • Master's degree in languages or a related field
  • Demonstrable skills in teaching languages at the lower-division level
  • Sensitivity to a diverse student population
  • Ability to provide a strong pedagogical foundation to classes of 20-30 students
  • Familiarity with the integration of technology into the classroom
  • Knowledge of second-language acquisition and teaching methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in languages or a related field
  • Experience in teaching languages at the university level
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment strategies
