Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Operating Room department.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement patient care services for a designated unit or patient population.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing personnel to ensure adherence to Montefiore Medical Center's standards of practice.
- Provide coaching and feedback to nursing personnel as needed to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Nurse Manager to coordinate fiscal, human, and other resources needed to provide patient care services.
- Participate in performance improvement and research activities to enhance the quality of patient care.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification.
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service.
- Demonstrates clinical leadership, problem-solving skills, competency, and principles of Montefiore Excellence.
- Computer literate.
- BLS.
- Infection Control.
