Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Lending Specialist to join our team at TRUE Community Credit Union. As a Mortgage Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively soliciting new residential mortgage business and selling TRUE Community Credit Union mortgage products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships to identify and pursue new mortgage lending opportunities.
  • Regularly participate in business development opportunities, community efforts to promote homeownership, and professional organizations to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure excellent member service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to business and member inquiries to determine objectives and advise members and business associates.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of real estate lending experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending and regulations, including FHA, VA, conventional, and construction loans, and home equity loans.
  • Excellent member service and communication skills.
  • Eligibility to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) of Real Estate Lending.
