Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Phlebotomy/Processing Supervisor, this role is responsible for obtaining blood samples from patients, accurately recording data, and ensuring that blood specimens are properly prepared for diagnostic purposes.
Essential Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Completion of a Certified Phlebotomy Program is highly preferred
- A minimum of three years of experience in phlebotomy, including at least one year at Emerson Hospital is essential
Licensure and Certification:
No specific licensure required
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service abilities
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Competent computer skills
- Capacity to uphold confidentiality of sensitive information
