Job Overview: Oversee and manage post-award functions for sponsored initiatives. Ensure compliance with institutional policies, guidelines, and regulatory standards. Address account-related issues and serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and funding sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and compliance for sponsored initiatives
  • Provide guidance on grant-related policies and procedures
  • Authorize procurement, travel, and recruitment requests
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations
  • Act as the primary contact for faculty and staff
  • Reconcile grants and track expenditures
  • Deliver timely reports and assist with budget modifications
  • Coordinate required reporting for sponsors
  • Support faculty engaged in research activities
  • Assist in the management of sponsored programs

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in administration of sponsored activities

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Educational Background: Advanced degree

Preferred Experience: Familiarity with grant regulations and management software

Salary Range: $59,460 to $70,000

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Understanding of federal grant policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in various computer applications
