**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing and Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for the leasing process from introduction to resident occupancy, maintaining diligent communication throughout the tenancy.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain exceptional customer service relationships with prospects and residents.
- Ensure the leasing office, tour path, model apartment, vacant apartments, amenities, and community curb appeal are consistently maintained at a high standard.
- Sell the community's features and services to prospects, utilizing thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties, and competitors.
- Convert phone calls to tours, property tours to leases, and internet leads to tours and/or leases.
- Accurately prepare and have thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork, including applications, move-in information, renewal letters, and move-out requests.
- Continuously review performance reports, analyzing data to identify opportunities to lease available and upcoming apartments.
- Manage and resolve resident concerns, including maintenance service requests, and follow up to ensure quality service.
- Actively engage in marketing and assist in developing strategies to increase property traffic and internet leads.
- Plan, organize, and attend resident functions.
- Create content for social media.
- Prepare market surveys and maintain knowledge of competitors' features.
- Assist in placing and updating marketing materials, such as banners and signs.
- Provide general clerical assistance, including managing phones and entering maintenance service requests.
**Essential Capabilities**
- Treat every guest with enthusiasm, integrity, and empathy.
- Be a self-starter who takes initiative, works well independently, and is organized with strong analytical and technical skills.
- Establish credibility throughout the organization with both management and team members.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload is essential.
- Ability to travel for property errands or training classes.
**Essential Education Requirements**
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- English required (bi-lingual a plus).
