Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to Inquiries: Respond to and document enrollment and general inquiry calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide Information: Provide responses to questions and refer callers to alternate sources when appropriate.
  • Assist with Enrollment: Assist MA Consumers with choosing PH-MCOs and PCPs by providing education and objective information.
  • Transfer Assistance: Assist MA Consumers with PH-MCO and PCP transfers.
  • Education and Awareness: Educate MA Consumers by providing information regarding physical and behavioral health services and service providers under the HealthChoices Program, ACCESS Plus and Voluntary Managed Care Programs.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain updated knowledge of the EAP and the HealthChoices, ACCESS Plus and Voluntary Managed Care programs.
  • State Systems: Maintain knowledge of State systems necessary to perform job duties.
  • Managed Care Plans: Maintain updated knowledge of managed care plans that are available to MA Consumers.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry as required, including entering enrollments for MA Consumers.
  • Outreach Activities: Participate in outreach activities, as required.
  • Issue Reporting: Report any issues, concerns, and problems to the Call Center Supervisor.
  • Performance Standards: Meet all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or health services enrollment environment.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability: Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
