Air Squared Manufacturing Inc is a leading OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders for various industries. We offer exciting career opportunities working on cutting-edge projects like NASA MOXIE and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e).
We are looking for a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist - Materials Procurement to be responsible for purchasing material, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for our organization. The successful candidate will support qualifying suppliers, evaluate terms, negotiate pricing, and improve supplier performance.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing material, supplies, and services from qualified suppliers at the best possible terms.
- Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on their performance, quality, and pricing.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, quality products, and competitive pricing.
- Identifying cost savings opportunities and implementing process improvements.
- Coordinating with internal customers to resolve quality issues, lead times, and delivery problems.
- Working closely with the Supplier Quality team to resolve any quality concerns or defects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.
- Industry certification such as Institute for Supply Management CPSM (CPSM) or Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS) CSCP is desirable.
- Highly proficient in utilizing ERP Systems such as Global Shop.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and suppliers.
- Negotiation and contracting skills are essential.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
Location: Thornton, Colorado
Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
