Responsibilities
  • Comply with ATC policies and procedures
  • Comply with client facility nursing policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA
  • Communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel
  • Document patient care as assigned in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Follow the patient's plan of care as assigned
  • Deliver personal care services to patients as assigned
  • Take vital signs and document according to facility protocols
  • Record patient input and output as assigned
  • Maintain competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state-specific requirements
Requirements

At least six months of work experience. Current CPR certification is a plus. Other health and screening tests may be required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

Work Environment

Varies by client facility setting. May involve exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
