We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at The Children's Home of Kingston. This position will involve providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with mental illness, including triage, diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, prescribing, and group treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients under 22 with mental illness
- Provide follow-up care and prescribe medications as needed
- Participate in group treatment and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Review patients' medication records to determine the appropriateness of their existing medication regimen
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing
- Nurse Practitioner certification in Psychiatry
- Valid New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner
