We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Financial Controller to enhance our operations. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of QuickBooks, accounting standards, and financial management processes. This position necessitates proficiency in overseeing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), maintaining the general ledger, and managing lease agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage daily financial activities, including AP, AR, and general ledger operations.
  • Ensure precise and current financial documentation in QuickBooks.
  • Administer lease management, encompassing lease contracts, renewals, and rental transactions.
  • Compile and evaluate financial reports, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end reconciliations, including bank and credit card statements, as well as balance sheets.
  • Uphold compliance with internal controls and organizational policies.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Deliver financial analysis and recommendations to upper management.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during financial examinations.
  • Support payroll functions as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or in a comparable position.
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, including debit/credit ledger knowledge.
  • Experience in managing AP and AR.
  • Familiarity with lease management and contract oversight.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
