Job Summary:

Rubio's Restaurants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our team members are working efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Guest Service: Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet our guests' needs.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash handling and financial transactions, ensuring that all sales and expenses are accurately recorded.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to our team members, helping them to improve their skills and advance in their careers.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills.
  • Language: Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, clearly communicating operational concerns with management and coworkers.
