Salary:

As a Caregiver at Sunrise Senior Living, you can expect a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 per year, based on geographic location, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses (where applicable).


Job Description:

At Sunrise, our Care Manager is responsible for providing exceptional care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.

The key responsibilities include building meaningful relationships with seniors and their families, providing assistance with daily activities, attending to individual care needs, and getting to know their unique preferences and personalities.

You will also be responsible for notifying management of changes in condition and recommending adjustments in care and service, assisting residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities, and participating in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).

Additionally, you will partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs and policies, and respond to dining needs while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel as a Caregiver, you should possess excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and the ability to work in a team environment.

A High School diploma/GED is required, and in some states, certifications may be necessary. Previous experience working with seniors is preferred, and you should be able to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.

Furthermore, you should have strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and time management skills, good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
