Position Overview:

Nestlé Health Science is in search of a committed Wastewater Treatment Specialist to oversee the operations of our wastewater management facility. This role is crucial for monitoring, operating, and maintaining the systems in place to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sampling, monitoring, and testing to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on facility equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor regarding operational status and compliance issues.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive starting wage of $28.00/hour, commensurate with experience, plus a Night Shift Premium of an additional $3/hour.
  • Work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, totaling 3 1/2 days per week.
  • Comprehensive benefits package available after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possession of a Georgia Wastewater License or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and operations.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various testing procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in the English language is essential.
  • Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude is required.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Prior experience in maintenance or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
