We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Representative to join our team at ASM Global. As a Security Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, staff, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Event Safety and Security: Assist with various security needs as assigned by management, including screening fans entering the building for unauthorized items, securing/restricting public access to areas deemed as off-limits by management, and patrolling the building's interior and/or exterior for unauthorized accesses or trespassing.
- Crowd Control and Management: Respond to customer/fan needs relating to crowd control and safety in accordance with established rules and policies, and alert arena management and supervisors to any concerns regarding safety/security.
- Incident Response and Reporting: Handle security/safety needs in accordance with established protocols, write incident reports, and meet with security supervisors to review procedures.
- Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Meet the physical demands of the job, which include being able to get in and around the facility, lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, and working in moderate to loud noises.
- Education and Experience: On-the-job training provided, HS diploma or GED preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate knowledge of security issues related to a major sports and entertainment venue, handle conflicts, make common sense decisions, and exercise proper action during high tension and stressful situations.
The Security Representative will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and will be required to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
