Finished Goods Operator

The Finished Goods Operator is responsible for the safe operation of a forklift to transport products to designated storage areas or prepare them for shipment. This role is typically performed in a cold/refrigerated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Store finished product pallets in appropriate storage racks
- Prepare orders for dispatch
- Conduct cycle count inventories
- Maintain necessary documentation
- Notify supervisor and maintenance of any mechanical issues
- Adhere to safety protocols
- Stay informed about machinery in the work area
- Keep the workspace tidy and free from hazards
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Follow all safety policies and best practices
- Participate in assigned audits (Safety, GMP, 5S, etc.)
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift
- Experience in a freezer or cold storage setting is preferred
The employee is expected to comply with all food safety standards:
- Adhere to established programs and policies to ensure the production of safe quality food that meets regulatory and company standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of CraftMark Bakery's Food Safety and Quality Systems.
- Be accountable for adhering to CraftMark Bakery's Food Safety and Quality Principles.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform essential functions effectively. The employee will frequently need to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands for handling, and reach with arms. Occasionally, the employee may need to sit, balance, or perform actions such as kneeling or crouching. The role involves lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time role, requiring 12-hour shifts. Day shifts are from 5 AM to 5 PM, with potential overtime and weekend work.

Compensation
