Metal Finishing Team Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily scheduling of employees to ensure efficient production
- Maintaining adequate staffing levels to meet production demands
- Completing paperwork as needed to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Inspecting materials during production to ensure quality and safety
- Planning workload in advance to meet production deadlines
- Leading assigned employees to achieve production goals and objectives
- Ensuring OSHA/IOSHA and IDEM compliance in all aspects of production
- Planning and reviewing upcoming jobs to ensure efficient production
- Maintaining Key Point Indicators (KPIs) to track production performance
- Maintaining equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency
- Accountability, instruction, and training of employees to ensure they meet production expectations
- Disciplining employees as needed to maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Working with all leadership in the company to ensure alignment and cooperation
- Ordering supplies as needed to maintain production efficiency
- Ability to use office software (email, spreadsheets, databases) to manage production and administrative tasks
Physical Demands and Abilities:
- Regularly using hands and fingers to operate and inspect machinery and metal parts
- Regularly lifting and/or moving objects weighing 10-50 lbs
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving objects weighing more than 100 lbs to position metal objects for treatment or packaging
- Frequently standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to position self to move metal objects for treatment or packaging
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
- Must be able to distinguish slight differences in various finishes
- Communicating verbally with co-workers regarding safety, discrepancies, or a variety of other work issues
- Ability to work in an environment that may be hot or cold, depending on the season, and may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, and solvents
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be willing and able to pass a drug and alcohol test at any time

Requirements:
- Leadership experience: 2 years (strongly preferred)
- Aluminum Finishing experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Manufacturing experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Language: English and Spanish (preferred)
- Shift Availability: 3rd shift
- Work Location: In person
