Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Harvard University. As a key technical liaison, you will work closely with our constituents, including Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT), Harvard College, and the Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS). Your primary responsibility will be to guide and prioritize the reinvention of existing processes across all sub-units in the FAS Registrar's Office, including Academic Planning, Enrollment Services, and Information & Records Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key technical liaison to our constituents, including Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT), Harvard College, and the Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS); guide and prioritize reinvention of existing processes across all sub-units in the FAS Registrar's Office including Academic Planning, Enrollment Services, and Information & Records Management
  • In collaboration with the Registrar leadership team, contribute to the unit's overall technical strategic plan; propose robust solutions to FAS complex business needs; provide data reporting and data analysis, and act as primary liaison with HUIT regarding security roles and access to student information systems; provide technical support for EMS room reservation system
  • Serve as primary facilitator of critical technical training for new employees and advise Business Systems Analysts (BSA) in the Registrar's Office on data governance best practices across teams
  • Conduct collaborative Business Systems Analyst peer group meetings and mentorship opportunities
  • Act as dedicated Business Systems Analyst for Academic Planning unit needs regarding reporting, process reinvention, technical training

Requirements
  • Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent) preferred
