Job Summary

Bryan Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in a staffing agency capacity. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient medical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine Procedures: Utilize radiopharmaceuticals, imaging procedures, and techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patient medical problems.
  • Prepare Radiopharmaceuticals: Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for administration by injection, ingestion, and inhalation.
  • Operate Nuclear Medicine Equipment: Competently operate all nuclear medicine equipment, including EPIC and PACS.
  • Assess and Plan Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care and procedures in accordance with established nuclear medicine standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of isotopes used and complete quality control on scanning equipment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with medical staff, coworkers, patients, families, and other hospital staff to assure quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Certification: Current certification or eligibility for certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMT) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology.
