Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This role involves performing maintenance and cleaning tasks throughout our facility. The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Manager and will be expected to align with our core values and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all mechanical and electrical tasks safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all work performed.
  • Assist Preventive Maintenance Technicians as needed.
  • Identify and report any unsafe conditions within the manufacturing environment.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions.
  • Adhere to all maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Rotate tasks within the team as required.
  • Be available for overtime to meet production demands.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • Forklift Safety Certification is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and understanding the manufacturing environment.
  • Skilled in using power and hand tools.
  • Strong fabrication skills and knowledge of fluid and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute complex procedures and assignments.
  • Experience with installing various types of piping.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, including 120/480 volt electricity.
  • Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics.
  • Skills in brazing, cutting, soldering, and welding.
  • Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, grinders, drills, and welders.
  • Familiarity with motor starters and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly during the work shift.
  • Experience with electronic testing equipment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs.
  • Knowledge of electrical service specifications and installations.
Education
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; vocational training is preferred.
  • Previous experience in mechanical and electrical roles within a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
