Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at Principal Service Solutions. As an Adjustment Technician, you will be responsible for the modification, installation, servicing, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing facility.

This is a long-term, full-time position with full benefits and training based out of Sherman, Texas. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with robust electro-mechanical experience and a strong work ethic who are eager to continue building a career that offers unlimited opportunities for growth and career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine installations and/or maintenance on assigned products.
  • Follow all corporate safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
  • Assist on-the-job training to the internal technician in routine operation, installation, and troubleshooting of assigned products.
  • Effectively troubleshoot issues for both hardware and software.
  • Professionally interact with and understand technical information from the internal team.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork and Status Reporting with supervision.
  • Input data to QA / QC check sheet and report creation and submission to Installation Site Manager.
  • Attend daily field meetings.
  • Work with minimum supervision, as needed.
  • Recommend technical solutions/resolutions to engineer groups.

Requirements:

  • Technical School or Military Certification is preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years of maintenance, technician or general electro-mechanical experience.
  • No degree required.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronics diagnostic instruments and shop/hand tools.
  • Ability to read electrical/electronics schematics and blueprints and diagnose/troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to work with heights.
  • Working knowledge of Digital Voltmeter and Oscilloscope functionality.
  • PC skills (MS Office, Excel, Windows).
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain all necessary travel documents.
