Job Title: Staff Attorney Housing Law Specialist
Job Summary:
New Hampshire Housing is seeking a highly skilled Staff Attorney to join our Executive Division. As a Staff Attorney, you will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel that drives the success of our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing legal guidance to the Executive Director and staff
- Collaborating with external General Counsel, Board Counsel, and other legal service providers
- Conducting research on legal issues and potential impacts to NH Housing
- Analyzing case law and legislation to inform NH Housing policies and practices
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents
- Assisting with contract negotiations and other agreements
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Requirements:
- JD or equivalent from a law school approved by the American Bar Association
- License to practice law in New Hampshire
- At least 3 years of experience in one or more areas: corporations, contracts, municipal, real estate law
