Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer for the Focal Plane Array team. As a Semiconductor Process Engineer, you will support wafer fabrication tools and processes, perform data analysis, identify process issues, and drive mitigation strategies. You will have regular interactions with equipment vendors, operations management, equipment maintenance, and development engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualify, setup, and operate semiconductor wafer equipment in a manufacturing environment
Perform Design of Experiments (DOEs) and process verification to bring new tools and processes online
Develop, optimize, and own wafer processes to drive device performance and yield improvement
Create and monitor statistical process control (SPC) for production processes
Identify process and/or equipment issues and lead investigation efforts
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Experience in semiconductor wafer processing operations and III-V semiconductor wafer processing. Preferred skills include diffusion, photolithography, failure analysis, mechanical thinning, or bonding. Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Proficient skills in statistical data analysis software (Minitab, JMP, etc.) are also necessary.
