Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquisition Planning and Execution: Support the planning, initiating, tracking, and preparation of Acquisition Requirement Packages (ARPs), policies, contract administration support, and providing expert assistance in accordance with FAR regulations and other Army guidelines.
  • Document Development and Review: Develop and review documents, including Acquisition Plans and Strategies, Performance Work Statements / Statement of Objectives, Requests for Proposal / Requests for Quotation, Contract Data Requirements Lists, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Performance Requirement Summaries, Acceptable Quality Levels, Service Contract Approval Requests, Proper Use of Non-DoD Acquisitions, Requests for Information, Independent Government Cost Estimates, and Cost Benefits Analyses.
  • Analysis and Recommendation: Provide analysis and recommendation for any contract actions required to meet mission requirements.
  • Representation and Interface: Represent PD Aerostats at designated meetings with external organizations to discuss program requirements, contract/project planning, support, and operational needs, as requested by Product Office Leads.
  • Contractor Support: Support PD Aerostats as the contracts interface with vendors and other agencies.
  • Technical Advisory: Serve as a technical advisor for source selection boards, when requested by the Government.
  • Schedule Management: Assist with the review of, and provide recommendations related to, the Product Offices' Contractors' schedules, CDRL deliverables, IMS (Inventory Management System), and provide input and recommendations in the development, maintenance, and assessment of multiple concurrent program schedules.
  • Deliverable Management: Track, review, provide data management, and recommendations related to the Product Offices' Contractors' deliverables and requests (information, item disposition, travel, shipment, and purchase requests).
Requirements:
  • Detailed-Oriented: Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Army Program Management Office (PMO) Experience: Army Program Management Office (PMO) experience.
  • Contract Knowledge: Knowledge of multiple contract types (T&M, FFP, Cost Plus).
  • DoD Acquisition Process: Understanding of the DoD Acquisition Process.

Estimated Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
