Job Title: Lead Maintenance Mechanic - Project Engineer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Mechanic - Project Engineer to join our team at Now Hiring Heroes. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of company projects, managing contractor resources, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead manufacturing, maintenance, and other teams in the execution of company projects, including conceptual and preliminary design, core team selection, scope development, equipment and system selection, procurement, installation, checkout, and commissioning
* Manage contractor resources and maintain company compliance with federal and state regulations
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment and manage projects during power/recovery annual and other outages
* Provide technical support to Maintenance Planners, Foremen, and to other Engineers

**Requirements:**

* 4+ years of experience in project management in a mill environment required
* Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller, Variable Frequency Drives, and Power Distribution Systems
* Consumer packaging or paper industry experience preferred
