About the Role

The Support Staff Care Specialist will assist the Child Care teaching staff in providing exceptional care for attending children. Ensuring the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children are met, while maintaining compliance with all state regulations and department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by state regulations and department policies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement engaging activities that meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Provide support and guidance to children as needed, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, fostering open communication and collaboration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current BLS and Water Safety Certification (recommended for part-time staff).
  • Experience in an early childhood setting (preferred).
