Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Georgia Air and Refrigeration Services Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, including HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk-in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional support to clients, overseeing all network services and performing tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas-related issues with commercial kitchen equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with clients, display excellent communication skills, and manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Certifications: Preferred relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical.
  • Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, pass a satisfactory background and drug screening, and have computer skills including Microsoft Office.
