LifeLong Medical Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager/Counselor to join our team.

Position Overview:

  • Oversee the integration of mental health, substance use, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services for our Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) MAT program.
  • Lead administrative supervision of SAMHSA MAT program staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide direct substance use disorder (SUD) services, including counseling services to clients receiving MAT.
  • Support the retention of patients with co-occurring and SUD disorders.
  • Collaborate with our site leadership to improve coordination of SUD care and services.
  • Perform needs assessments and coordinate with community partners to refer patients to resources.
  • Ensure grant reporting requirements are met.
  • Coordinate care with our agency-wide MAT and Recovery Support programs.
  • Communicate tasks and updates to SAMHSA MAT program staff.
  • Utilize data to inform program decisions.
  • Ensure grant deliverables are met.
  • Assess program performance and drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Participate in required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Must be registered or certified as an SUD Counselor or ASW.
  • Experience providing substance use and mental health treatment services to diverse populations.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational, problem-solving, and flexibility skills.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Compliance with healthcare regulations and strict confidentiality.
  • Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
