Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a School Health Specialist. This is a contract position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of nursing experience and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to medically fragile students with complex needs, including tracheostomy and ventilation care.
  • Administer medications, manage diabetic care, and provide assistance with toileting, suctioning, and catheterization as needed.
  • Collaborate with the school staff to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in pediatric care and special education.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and certification in school nursing or a related field.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
