Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at the Hillsborough County Jail facility in Tampa, FL. As a CMA, you will play a critical role in providing proactive, patient-focused healthcare to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine clinical tasks, including taking and documenting vital signs, height and weight, and assisting with PPDs and EKGs.
  • Perform routine blood drawing procedures and assist with examinations and/or treatments.
  • Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation, and dressing changes.
Qualifications
  • STATE or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • A valid CPR card is required.
  • A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred.
  • Office Lab Assistant License (for Nevada only).
