Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, patient treatment areas, and surgical and dental facilities to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Administer medications, injections, and perform various medical procedures as directed by our veterinarians.
  • Perform laboratory testing, digital radiology, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Provide exceptional client education and communication, ensuring that pet owners are informed and empowered to make the best decisions for their pets.
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a veterinary technician or technologist (CVT or RVT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) a plus.
