Job Summary

This Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter will be responsible for managing a Commercial renewal book for the PHL territory and driving the successful renewal and growth of commercial business in the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business plan to grow the Commercial book through prospect identification, pipeline development, new business production, and account management in assigned branches.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of the Commercial book of business, achieving growth for the branch, region, and territory.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within new and existing production sources, identify cross-sell opportunities, conduct agency planning and goal setting, and monitor progress.
  • Develop and maintain superior relationships with brokers and insureds, and implement effective and profitable pricing rate strategies.
Requirements
  • Strong underwriting skills and knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Ability to develop and implement business plans to drive growth and achieve financial targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
