Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Freight Auditor to join our team. As a Freight Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing and processing logistics invoices across various modes of transportation, including imports, inbound, and intermodal shipments. Your goal will be to identify billing discrepancies and verify overpayments made by our clients, with the aim of reducing overpayments and inaccurate billings.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit and process logistics invoices for various transportation modes
- Research and verify freight shipments and invoice payment information against client contracts and applicable rates
- Identify and report billing discrepancies and overpayments

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting
- 3+ years of experience in transportation systems, preferably in a technical setting associated with a transportation or logistics carrier or customer service environment
- Knowledge of shipping modes and applicable rates
