Job Title: CDL Class A Shuttle Truck Driver

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Performance Foodservice, a leading broadline distributor of food and foodservice products. We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Class A Shuttle Truck Driver to transport empty trailers to our warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tandem trailer, tractor trailer, and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to transport empty trailers to our warehouse locations.
  • Turn around and deliver full trailers with various products to domicile/shuttle yard locations in a safe and timely manner, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Requirements:
  • 12 months of commercial driving experience.
  • Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Work required 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
