Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Shuttle Truck Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by transporting empty trailers to our warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedules, following all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
  • Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines and park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
  • Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailers and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Unload all equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required.
  • Complete daily records of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Requirements
  • 12 months commercial driving experience
  • High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent
  • Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
Working Conditions

This is a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights, with schedules may vary. You will be required to work in a safe and inclusive working environment, with a culture of rewards, recognition, and respect.
