Job Title: Medical Imaging Technologist

About the Job:

  • The successful candidate will work as a medical imaging technologist in an interventional radiology setting, performing various procedures and tasks to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams, and position them correctly on the table or exam room
  • Operate equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and ultrasound devices to produce high-quality images of internal organs and tissues
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as ordered by physicians
  • Clean and maintain equipment, supplies, and exam rooms to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field; ARRT certification in Radiography required; ACLS, BLS certifications also necessary
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in interventional radiology or similar setting; proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) systems and ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills; strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
