Electromechanical Assembly Technician

Volt is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and testing electromechanical assemblies using engineering and manufacturing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electromechanical assemblies using hand tools and basic test equipment.
  • Perform quality control activities, including self-inspection and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to assemble prototype units from written instructions.
  • Operate basic test equipment and perform functional tests, including dielectric, bonding, and continuity tests.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of electro-mechanical assembly operations.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and standard wrenches.
  • Ability to operate basic test equipment and perform functional tests.
  • IPC 610 Certification or a valid RF/testing certificate is a plus.
