Job Overview

Volt is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for building basic Level I assemblies using engineering and manufacturing documentation under supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies using hand tools and operate basic test equipment.
  • Perform functional tests, including dielectric, bonding, and continuity tests.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to assemble prototype units from written instructions.
  • Oversee quality activities, including self-inspection.
  • Perform various operations, including rework, requiring an understanding of the functional operation of the items assembled and the finished product.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of electro-mechanical assembly operations.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and standard wrenches.
  • Ability to operate basic test equipment and perform functional tests.
  • IPC 610 Certification or a valid RF/testing certificate is a plus.
