Job Overview: The Talent Management Specialist will be responsible for managing various HR tasks and operations, including employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and coaching. This role will work closely with the HR Director to review and update human resource policies and procedures. Key responsibilities will include managing annual Open Enrollment Process, New Hire Orientation Training, and Educational seminars. Additionally, this role will partner with supervisors and managers to resolve employee discipline and termination situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee health, welfare, and retirement plans company-wide.
- Process monthly billings for benefit and outside vendors.
- Manage annual Open Enrollment Process; New Hire Orientation Training; Educational seminars.
- Partner with HR Director to review, update, and communicate human resource policies and procedures.
- Assist supervisors and managers with employee discipline and termination situations.
- Lead the Affirmative Action Planning and Reporting.
- Act as a liaison with various insurance carriers and foster effective relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, or other related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- At least 3 years of experience administering employee benefit plans.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
