IT Systems Technician

Job Summary
ASM Global, a leading provider of venue management and event services, is seeking an IT Tech to join our team. As an IT Tech, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT and AV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the repair and inventory of network equipment, including PCs, laptops, peripherals, servers, and switches.
- Provide help desk support for Windows versions, MS Office versions, Outlook365, and other software applications.
- Work with IT and AV-related software and hardware, including VITEC EZTV Signage Director Software, DMPs, and 300+ TVs.
- Assist with the management of PBA WiFi networks, including 200+ AP software and hardware.
- Work with scoreboard and ribbon board Daktronics software and hardware.
- Update and maintain Allo VoIP phone systems.
- Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
- Demonstrable knowledge and technique in the use and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers.
- Demonstrable knowledge and technique in the use of Microsoft Windows software, Microsoft Office products, basic routing and networking (Cisco), basic server maintenance, and cabling.
- Cisco managed switch programming a plus.
- Demonstrable knowledge and use of all procedures, techniques, machines, materials, equipment, and tools used in technical construction and maintenance.
- Possess knowledge and experience in industry terminology, event-related services, facility capabilities, and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility.
- Possess an understanding of facility's electrical, mechanical, and other systems.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
- Read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials.
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
- Meet physical demands of job, which entail climbing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training - or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
