General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Sr Technician to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.
GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.
Key Responsibilities- Plans and implements the design, manufacture, installation and/or maintenance of electrical systems and apparatus, such as electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, wiring and power systems/devices, for the generation, transmission and control of electric power.
- 2-year technical degree in Electro-Mechanical or equivalent certification.
- 0 to 2 years work experience (internship acceptable).
- Combination of equivalent education and experience acceptable.
- Proficiency with electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting with a working knowledge of AC and DC voltages and mechanical power transmission systems.
