Opportunity Overview: EMCS is seeking a skilled transportation engineer/designer to enhance our Milwaukee operations. This role involves engaging in diverse design initiatives, including highways, urban and rural roadways, complete streets, bicycle and pedestrian enhancements, multi-use pathways, and various development projects. The position is ideal for a motivated engineering professional eager to convert challenges into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the design and development of transportation projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
  • Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation for design tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout project phases.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
  • Professional Engineer registration in Wisconsin is advantageous.
  • Experience with transportation projects, particularly with WisDOT, is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
